A home page that replaced the sales lead's spreadsheet

Command centers for sales and OEM teams inside Salesforce: a KPI strip, dealer and partner health, who slipped, who never ordered, a help note on every number.

  • Salesforce

The problem

The head of sales ran the team from a spreadsheet and a dozen browser tabs. Month-to-date numbers read near zero on the first of every month, so nobody trusted the dashboard that showed them. Partners who had never ordered sat in the same list as the ones ordering every week, and "dormant" flagged 88 of them because the cut ignored how often each one actually buys.

What we built

The sales app now opens on a command center: a KPI strip, my numbers, momentum, dealer health, and a leaderboard, with six dashboard tabs behind it, including commissions and territory. The OEM team got its own app with partner health, never ordered, who slipped, pipeline, program readiness, and tasks. Windows are 90 days, not month-to-date. Every row links straight to the record. Every card carries a help note that says how the number is calculated.

The same suite was reused for a second brand and an international scope without a rebuild, and the reports underneath it were tightened one at a time with the people who read them: the new-dealer report went from a 90-day window to a 7-to-30-day one and from 64 rows to 15.

Where AI does the work

No AI in this build. Here's why that was right: a leaderboard, a dormancy flag, and a health score are calculations. They have to come out the same way for the rep and for the CEO.

Where rules do the work

Every board calculation, the 90-day windows, the cadence-aware health cut, the never-ordered split, the record links behind each row, and the help text that explains how each number is produced.

Outcome

Dormant OEM partners went from 88 to 12 once the health cut matched real buying cadence. The new-dealers-no-first-order report went from 64 rows to 15 and is now read weekly by three people.

Who this fits

  • Sales leaders running the team from a spreadsheet next to the CRM
  • Companies with a dealer or partner channel and no single view of who is slipping
  • Teams that stopped trusting month-to-date dashboards
